About the data
GB Politics republishes official UK Parliament data in one place. Nothing is edited or estimated. Every figure links back to the source.
Sources
- MPs: the UK Parliament Members API. Names, parties, constituencies, contact details and portraits.
- Votes: the Commons Votes API. Every division since the 2024 general election, including which MPs voted and which did not.
- Expenses: the IPSA business costs publications. Every claim, as published, by financial year.
- Interests: the Register of Members' Financial Interests API.
- Bills: the Bills API, current session.
How to read it
- "Votes attended" counts divisions where the MP voted aye or no. MPs can be absent for many reasons, including ministerial duties, illness, or paired absences, and the Speaker and Deputy Speakers do not vote.
- Expenses are amounts IPSA paid, not amounts claimed. Staffing costs are salaries for the MP's office team and are the largest category for almost every MP.
- Interests are shown as registered by the MP. The official register is the authoritative version.
