Statute Law (Repeals) Act 2013

A Bill to promote the reform of the statute law by the repeal, in accordance with recommendations of the Law Commission and the Scottish Law Commission, of certain enactments which (except in so far as their effect is preserved) are no longer of practical utility.

The story so farThe Statute Law (Repeals) Bill was introduced in the House of Lords on 10 October 2012 by Lord McNally (Liberal Democrat). It completed its passage through Parliament and became law as the Statute Law (Repeals) Act 2013, receiving Royal Assent on 31 January 2013.
