The story so farThe Charities (Protection and Social Investment) Bill was introduced in the House of Lords on 28 May 2015 by Lord Bridges of Headley (Conservative). It completed its passage through Parliament and became law as the Charities (Protection and Social Investment) Act 2016, receiving Royal Assent on 16 March 2016.
