Education and Adoption Act

A Bill to make provision about schools in England that are causing concern, including provision about their conversion into Academies and about intervention powers; and to make provision about joint arrangements for carrying out local authority adoption functions in England.

The story so farThe Education and Adoption Bill was introduced in the House of Commons on 3 June 2015 by Nicky Morgan (Conservative). It completed its passage through Parliament and became law as the Education and Adoption Act, receiving Royal Assent on 16 March 2016.
