The story so farThe Savings (Government Contributions) Bill was introduced in the House of Commons on 6 September 2016 by Mr Philip Hammond (Conservative). It completed its passage through Parliament and became law as the Savings (Government Contributions) Act 2017, receiving Royal Assent on 16 January 2017.
