The story so farThe Trade Bill was introduced in the House of Commons on 7 November 2017 by Dr Liam Fox (Conservative). It is now at the "Consideration of Lords amendments" stage in the House of Commons. The two Houses are now agreeing the final wording, sending amendments back and forth until both accept the same text; the bill then goes for Royal Assent.
