The story so farThe Education and Training (Welfare of Children) Bill was introduced in the House of Commons on 5 February 2020 by Mary Kelly Foy (Labour). It completed its passage through Parliament and became law as the Education and Training (Welfare of Children) Act 2021, receiving Royal Assent on 29 April 2021.
