The story so farThe British Nationality (Irish Citizens) Bill was introduced in the House of Commons on 6 December 2023 by Gavin Robinson (Democratic Unionist Party). It completed its passage through Parliament and became law as the British Nationality (Irish Citizens) Act 2024, receiving Royal Assent on 24 May 2024.
