The story so farThe Lords Spiritual (Women) Act 2015 (Extension) Bill was introduced in the House of Lords on 30 July 2024 by Baroness Smith of Basildon (Labour). It completed its passage through Parliament and became law as the Lords Spiritual (Women) Act 2015 (Extension) Act 2025, receiving Royal Assent on 16 January 2025.
