The story so farThe Water (Special Measures) Bill was introduced in the House of Lords on 4 September 2024 by Baroness Hayman of Ullock (Labour). It completed its passage through Parliament and became law as the Water (Special Measures) Act 2025, receiving Royal Assent on 24 February 2025.
