The story so farThe Product Regulation and Metrology Bill was introduced in the House of Lords on 4 September 2024 by Lord Leong (Labour). It completed its passage through Parliament and became law as the Product Regulation and Metrology Act 2025, receiving Royal Assent on 21 July 2025.
