The story so farThe Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (Transfer of Functions etc) Bill was introduced in the House of Lords on 9 October 2024 by Baroness Smith of Malvern (Labour). It completed its passage through Parliament and became law as the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (Transfer of Functions etc) Act 2025, receiving Royal Assent on 15 May 2025.
