The story so farThe Dogs (Protection of Livestock) (Amendment) Bill was introduced in the House of Commons on 21 October 2024 by Aphra Brandreth (Conservative). It completed its passage through Parliament and became law as the Dogs (Protection of Livestock) (Amendment) Act, receiving Royal Assent on 18 December 2025.
