The story so farThe Bus Services Bill was introduced in the House of Lords on 17 December 2024 by Lord Hendy of Richmond Hill (Labour). It completed its passage through Parliament and became law as the Bus Services Act 2025, receiving Royal Assent on 27 October 2025.
