The story so farThe Church of Scotland (Lord High Commissioner) Bill was introduced in the House of Commons on 13 February 2025 by Pat McFadden (Labour). It completed its passage through Parliament and became law as the Church of Scotland (Lord High Commissioner) Act, receiving Royal Assent on 3 April 2025.
