The story so farThe Biodiversity Beyond National Jurisdiction Bill was introduced in the House of Commons on 10 September 2025 by Yvette Cooper (Labour). It completed its passage through Parliament and became law as the Biodiversity Beyond National Jurisdiction Act 2026, receiving Royal Assent on 12 February 2026.
