The story so farThe Broadcasting (Television Licence Fee Abolition) Bill was introduced in the House of Commons on 26 January 2009 by Mr Christopher Chope (Conservative). What the bill does

<p>The Bill would abolish the requirement for a television licence fee, by repealing the part of the Communications Act 2003 that relates to licensing of TV reception.</p>
