The story so farThe Development on Flood Plains (Environment Agency Powers) Bill was introduced in the House of Commons on 16 December 2009 by Bob Spink (Independent). What the bill does
This Bill would allow certain areas to be designated by the Secretary of State as flood plains. In these areas, the Environment Agency would be able to veto development.
