BENZODIAZEPINE TRANQUILLISERS CLAIMS

That this House congratulates the Benzodiazepine Solicitors Group on their determined efforts on behalf of the thousands of people who suffered as a result of this type of tranquilliser; expresses its concern at the prospect of legal aid being withdrawn from the sufferers; calls on the pharmaceutical companies involved to compensate all victims; and further calls on the Government to establish rules and procedures to cover multi-party legal actions.
