leave out from `Council' to end and add `in good faith, and that the honourable Member for Stockton South was pleased to learn on 17th October that a full investigation by the District Auditor had shown such allegations to be unfounded; regrets to note that it was necessary for the honourable Member for Stockton South to raise the matter in the House before they were fully investigated or explained by Cleveland County Council; notes that the District Auditor found there to have been a complete breakdown in relations between employer and employee at the county; and hopes that all concerned can now put this matter behind them and work in future for the good of the people of Cleveland, as they are paid to do.'.
