MEMOIRS OF FREDERICK WEST

That this House views with extreme distaste the proposed sale for ú1 million of the so-called memoirs of the late Mr Frederick West; doubts whether the Official Solicitor is putting a correct interpretation upon his duty to act in the best interests of the beneficiaries of the Frederick West estate; questions whether the estate has good title to the material being offered for sale; and consequently believes that the sale should not proceed but, if it does proceed, believes that any profits should accrue to the families of the alleged victims not the family of the alleded offenders.
