CONDUCT OF THE HONOURABLE MEMBER FOR PLYMOUTH, DEVONPORT

That this House condemns the action of the honourable Member for Plymouth, Devonport in tabling EDM 284 (Penwith Conservative Research Group and Remarks about the Elderly and VAT on Fuel) in that he did so in the full knowledge that the letter which appeared in the Cornishman was a 'Spoof' and that it was written by someone who is not a member of the Conservative Party and that the so-called 'Penwith Conservative Research Group' has absolutely no connection with the Conservative Party as it does not exist.
