The motion

That this House is not surprised to learn that sums of ú5,000 per annum have been paid to NHS health authority non-executive directors for as few as two attendances per annum and that this has failed to raise any concern at audit when the Director of the Audit Commission has readily admitted permitting illegal payments when Chief Executive of the Yorkshire Regional Health Authority.
