AGE ALLOWANCE CONVERSION

The motion

That this House believes that the 25 pence a week age allowance to pensioners 80 years of age and over is an insult to those who fought for their country in the last war and paid into the social security system; and calls on Her Majesty's Government to convert this allowance into an annual ú13 lump sum payment.
