The motion
That this House notes that Powderhall Stadium in Edinburgh has been used for sporting events for 120 years from football, rugby and athletics in earlier days to greyhound racing and speedway more recently; supports the clearly expressed view of greyhound and speedway fans, and the majority of local people, that Powderhall should continue to be used for recreational purposes; and calls on the present owners to respect those wishes or sell on to those who will.
