That this House recognises the commitment, professionalism and bravery of the country's firefighters; is concerned that the serious financial situation now facing the Fire Service will undermine the ability of the fire brigades to meet quality standards while increasing the dangers to firefighters by reducing their training and access to the most advancedd equipment, and fears that the reputation of the United Kingdom Fire Service as a world leader in practice, equipment, training and innovation is now in jeopardy.
