The motion
leave out from 'House' to end and insert 'condemns the allegations of racism made against the honourable Member for Leicester East who has spent his entire political life fighting racism in all its manifestations and indeed has been a victim of it; notes that the Despatches programme was deeply flawed and is already the subject of complaints to the ITC on the grounds of lack of impartiality and major factual inaccuracies; and further notes that Channel 4 was informed of these facts before the programme was broadcast.'.
