RIVER TAY FLOOD RISK AND FLOOD MANAGEMENT

That this House notes that red alert flood notices have been posted for the River Tay and its contributory rivers and burns; further notes that this is the first time since October 1995 that such a level of threat has occurred; and calls upon the Government in conjunction with Perth and Kinross Council to bring forward proposals for flood management of the whole of the River Tay catchment area.
