DR GWYN JONES AND THE BBC BROADCASTING COUNCIL FOR WALES (No.2)

That this House commends the blocking of the reappointment of Dr Gwyn Jones to the Chairmanship of the BBC Broadcasting Council for Wales, given his crucial role in the irresponsible and prejudicial premature leaking to the BBC of the very welcome intention of LG of Korea to invest in Wales via its two new high technology, high employment factories in Newport; and believes this to be a salutary lesson to those who abuse the power and responsibility conveyed to them in chairing the Welsh quangos.
