The motion
That this House believes that revelations that John Barratt, the Chair of the Bradford Commission inquiry, lobbied during the course of the inquiry in support of the Bradford North SRB bid, and against the Bradford West SRB bid, which includes Manningham and Girlington, inevitably call Mr Barratt's impartiality into question and weakens further the standing of the Bradford Commission Report; calls upon Bradford Congress to repudiate Mr Barratt's support for the Bradford North SRB bid, contained in a letter, dated 27th March, from Mr Barratt to senior officials of Bradford Council; and urges Her Majesty's Government to approve the Bradford West SRB bid and to announce its decision as a matter of urgency.
