The motion
That this House notes that on Wednesday 31st January the honourable Member for Warley West sought the leave of the House to bring in a Bill to regulate the funding of political parties and providing for the disclosure of the source of donations, prohibiting donations from overseas sources and requiring the publication of accounts; further notes that the honourable Member for Banff and Buchan along with the honourable Member for Moray supported the motion in the ensuing division; requires clarification and explanation of the decision of the Scottish National party to open fund raising offices in Canada and the United States of America; and calls for an early debate on the funding of political parties.
