CYCLE HELMETS FOR POSTAL WORKERS

That this House is concerned that it is not Royal Mail policy to supply postal workers who use cycles in the course of their work with cycle helmets; believes that cycle helmets should be provided to those members of Royal Mail staff who wish to use them at no cost to the staff member; and requests the Government to urge the Royal Mail to offer free cycle helmets to all staff using Royal Mail bicycles as a matter of course.
