PARISH AND TOWN COUNCIL REPRESENTATION ON REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT CHAMBERS

That this House believes that measures are necessary to ensure that parish councils, as the elected representatives of local communities, are fully represented by their respective county associations on the new regional development agencies and proposed regional chambers to ensure that these act within the law and the democratic traditions of the land and do not act to further erode the rural nature of the country.
