The motion

That this House deplores the unethical behaviour of Leeds-based solar-power equipment suppliers Sunuser Limited; particularly notes the disgraceful and intimidating treatment of disabled pensioner Mr B. J. Leavesley of Bromsgrove, who believed his ú700 deposit could be refunded within seven working days of signing a contract; deplores the overbearing and harassing behaviour of Sunuser sales employees who stayed over five hours in Mr Leavesley's home pressurising him to sign a contract; further notes his deposit has not been returned and he has been threatened by the company with legal action if he does not accept the loss of his deposit in return for what they claim is loss of profit; and calls upon Her Majesty's Government to take action against such rogue firms who use high pressure home sales techniques to play on the vulnerable and the elderly.
