The motion
leave out from 'recognises' to 'jobs' in line 7 and insert: 'notes that by removing the specific references to fuel poverty, the requirement for the Secretary of State to lay his findings before Parliament, the power to make regulations and the references to specific action to provide households with a comprehensive package of home insultation, the Government has severely limited the original intent and effect of the Bill; calls on the Government to reinstate these areas of the Bill so that the Bill can be an effective tool in reducing fuel poverty,'.
