Tabled by Mr Ernie Ross (Labour)

The motion
That this House believes that there will be no lasting peace in the Middle East without a just resolution of the issue of over four million Palestinian refugees; believes that after suffering 51 years of exile and dispossession it is a moral imperative that these refugees be offered the hope of a better future; believes that they are entitled to full international support to achieve their rights as laid out in international law, including the right of return and compensation; and believes that the Palestinian refugees should be properly consulted on any final agreement and that the British government should pursue and take up the legitimate claims of British citizens who are Palestinian refugees.
