HUMAN RIGHTS - TIBET

That this House mindful of the continuing abuses of human rights in Tibet, welcomes and supports the Report of the Foreign Affairs Committee on China, specifically its call for greater co-ordination of policy in the EU and for a resolution on human rights in China to be tabled at the UNHRC in 2001; and calls on the UK Government to urgently promote this co-ordination in EU member states.
