The motion
That this House congratulates the all-amateur Gosport and Fareham rugby team for its performance in the final of the Powergen Intermediate Cup at Twickenham on Saturday 20 April; respects the Halifax team for its victory, but takes pride in the determination of Gosport and Fareham in maintaining its fighting spirit to the end; and notes that Gosport and Fareham were cheered on by a large and vocal crowd of supporters who took great pleasure in the achievement of the club's greatest success so far.
