EDINBURGH OLD TOWN FIRE

That this House pays tribute to the skill, professionalism and courage of the personnel of Edinburgh, Lothians and Fife Fire Service in saving much of the World Heritage Site of the Old Town of Edinburgh; and recognises the opinion of experts, that the green goddesses would have had no chance of containing the furnace that would have engulfed many historic buildings.
