OPEN SKIES POLICY

That this House recognises the benefits of a genuine open skies policy within the European Community; looks forward to the European Community's third package of air transport liberalisation measures to be published shortly, in the hope that real competition will thereby be created; and urges the European Commission to press other member states to end unlawful state aid and special terms for flag carriers.
