VICTORIA CLIMBIE CHARITABLE TRUST

That this House notes that the fourth anniversary of the death of Victoria Climbie on 25th February will be marked by a candlelit vigil at Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College; endorses the work of the Victoria Climbie Charitable Trust and Victoria's family in raising money to build a school in her home town of Abobo in the Ivory Coast; commends the fundraising efforts of Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College, the National Union of Teachers and others; and urges others, including individuals and businesses with investments in the Ivory Coast, to do what they can to help ensure the school is built and the memory of Victoria lives on.
