ELDER ABUSE

That this House notes with concern the Commission for Health Improvement report into the institutional hospital abuse on Rowan Ward in Manchester in September, the MacIntyre undercover expose of abuse within care homes in October and the Panorama undercover expose of similar abuses within domiciliary care in November; welcomes the Health Select Committee Inquiry into elder abuse; and calls upon the Government to undertake a full and comprehensive review of Adult Protection initiatives.
