INDIA-PAKISTAN RELATIONS

That this House welcomes the first meeting between Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee and President Pervez Musharraf in over two years; believes that the revival of air-links between the two countries is a positive step; urges both sides to continue open and constructive dialogue; recognises the pressures on both governments from nationalists and fundamentalists on both sides; and calls upon both leaders to resist radical and terrorist elements in favour of those seeking peaceful relations.
