The motion
leave out from 'House' to end and insert 'notes that the depot proposed in Romford to service Crossrail trains is on a brownfield site already owned by Network Rail, with many industrial facilities nearby; commends Cross London Rail Links Ltd for its exhaustive consultation with affected groups in Romford and elsewhere; believes that Crossrail is necessary for London and the UK, and particularly for areas of Redbridge, Havering and Essex which are poorly served by the existing transport network; and calls on the House vigorously to support Crossrail, in order that this vital piece of transport infrastructure can be built as soon as possible.'
