SCOPE EVICTIONS

That this House is appalled at the uncharitable behaviour of the charity Scope who seek to evict at short notice the severely disabled residents of 12 self-contained flats at Cyncoed Road, Cardiff, in order to benefit from the ú2 million sale of the land, the residents having being told for years that Scope intended to refurbish and improve their flats; and believes that Scope should be reminded of its duty of care to its residents and its moral obligation as a charity to put the interests of highly vulnerable people before profit.
