The motion
That this House acknowledges the achievements of RAF Cosford and its staff in providing first class training to the armed services in the past and the key role they should be allowed to play in the future, irrespective of the outcome of the Defence Training Review (DTR); recognises the contribution which an enhanced training centre at Cosford could make to the development of the Wolverhampton-Telford technology corridor and the growth of the West Midlands economy as a whole; and calls on the Secretary of State for Defence when considering options arising from the DTR to attach due importance to their implications for regional economies.
