The motion
That this House was shocked by the awesome capability of the multi nation force to destroy life in the Gulf War, acknowledges that if money can be quickly found and committed to the mass destruction of life, it could as readily be found to save life; and therefore calls on the Government to instruct the Foreign Secretary to propose at the Brussels meeting of foreign ministers on 16th April the formation of an anti-famine army from the nations involved in Operation Desert Storm to be commanded by General Schwarzkopf to combat the world's no. 1 enemy, starvation, which is threatening millions of lives in Africa.
