INTERNET GAMBLING

That this House is concerned by recent cases of gambling on the internet using credit cards, sometimes without the knowledge of the credit card holder; is concerned at the ease and spread of such gambling; calls upon providers of credit cards to provide a cap on the amount that can be used to place bets by means of credit card over the internet; and urges the Government to seek international agreements on regulation of such gambling sites, including an obligation for them to place a cap on credit card use and in particular to prevent the successive use of different credit cards.
