DELIVERY OF NEWSPAPERS BY THE POST OFFICE

That this House notes with concern that the Post Office is considering ending the delivery of newspapers to rural areas, and has already stopped the service in some areas citing it as uneconomic; expresses concern at the removal of yet another service to rural areas by the Post Office; and believes that continued cuts in service will undermine the whole postal service for rural areas.
