BREAST CANCER SCREENING FOR THE OVER SEVENTIES

The motion

That this House notes that increasing age is the biggest risk factor for breast cancer, but that women over 70 are not formally recalled for screening; and calls for the current self-referral system for women over 70 to be reviewed and consideration given to raising the upper limit of 70 for routine breast screening initiatives.
